  Sanskriti - Day 6 19/9/22 -By Aditya Damaraju The final day of Sanskriti aimed at closing this fest with a bang and was successful in doing so as the events commenced in the prestigious TMA Pai Hall around 4 PM. The air of excitement and cheerfulness was almost contagious as participants geared up to perform in respective events to give us a show to remember. The folk group dance competition was a dazzling display as participants donning colorful cultural attires put a show and never missed a beat. The variety of expressions they portrayed just through their dance in just 5 minutes of allotted time was simply a joy to watch. There was no shortage of talent as each batch of MCOPS had a maximum of 2 groups allowed and there could be 4-10 people in any given act.  Mad Ads was successful in testing the acting prowess of all those who partake in the event as in this unique competition contestants had to act out an entire advertisement sequence only with the voice of the narr...

Sanskriti - Day 5 18/9/22 - By Gautam Prabhu After the incredible quizzes of Day 4 that were mostly restricted to one room, the festive mood returned to the rest of the MCOPS building as another set of events took place on Day 5. You could hear the hooting and the clapping as soon you entered the campus as people cheered on the participants.  Being a Sunday, the events started quite early from around 10 am and lasted till 8 in the evening. Unfortunately, due to some logistical issues, the clay modelling event had to be cancelled. The organizers announced it the day before, to the dismay of the participants, but they were assured they’d get their registration fees back. The day started with the Debate and Eastern Solo Dance competitions concurrently. The Eastern Solo Dance participants were supposed to perform on songs in Hindi or any other Indian language with a time limit of 4 min per performance.   Sanskriti Day 4  -17/9/22 -By Tarang Mathur Day 4 of this beautiful week-long cultural fest, that is Sanskriti’ 22, being held at the MCOPS campus had a lot of exciting and exhilarating events spanning through the length of the entire day, from 8 AM through 7 PM.  The same hall/room, was assigned to host all the events happening on that day, that is New Lecture Hall 9. Most of the preliminary rounds of all the events had the same question paper format and since they were all in the form of a quiz, there was only a restricted time given to all the teams of participants to answer all the questions.   The hall was filled to the brim with enthusiastic teams of student participants. There was so much enthusiasm among the students, to participate, that the hall fell short of seats to accommodate all those present. Sanskriti - Day 3 16/9/22 - By Aditya Damaraju Third day of the prestigious Sanskriti fest on 15th September, kicked off at 5:30 PM with a dazzling array of competitions showcasing the bright talents of students of all years from MCOPS. The noise from the speakers made it imminent that the Duet Dance held in Room 228 was already a huge hit among participants , who were both from the same gender and opposite as they donned their various outfits to offer a scintillating display of chemistry, performing across genres. The judges had plenty to choose from as they judged the contestants on the basis of their choreography, expressions and execution among other things. Participants were each given 4 minutes to wow the crowd and win them over with a plethora of songs and dances, from eastern to western. Sanskriti Day 2  - 15/9/22 -By Tarang Mathur After a gap of one day to accommodate for Genesis 2022, everyone was roaring to get back and show their talents on Sanskriti Day 2.There were a lot of events lined up for day 2, all starting at 5 pm.  Western Solo Dance The day started off with the Western Dance Solo event, that took place at NLH9. The dancers performing their various styles had a few minutes to show their talents to the judges. The enthusiastic participants practiced their moves, waiting for their slots to be called.  One after another, the dancers took to the stage in order to showcase their skills. The sound of their talented performances echoing in the walls. Everyone performed brilliantly, in spite of a few technical glitches.  The award for first place was given to  Sindhuja, a first year M.Pharm student and the second and third awards were given to Prastuti and Udisha, both of whom belonged to  B.Pharm, in their third years.   Sanskriti - Day 1 13/9/22 -By Om Khandeparkar Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS) inaugurated their prestigious cultural fest, Sanskriti, on the 13th of September, 2022 . The much anticipated event for all pharmaceutical students of Manipal kicked off with a lamp lighting ceremony and a wonderfully sung invocation song in the P. Gundu Rao Hall in the MCOPS campus, signifying that an experience that cannot be missed would soon begin. After a short but scintillating speech from the principal of MCOPS, Dr. C. Mallikarjuna Rao (below left), the organizing committee beckoned the Chief Guest of the event, Mrs. Shobha U Kamath (below right), to say a few words.
