Third day of the prestigious Sanskriti fest on 15th September, kicked off at 5:30 PM with a dazzling array of competitions showcasing the bright talents of students of all years from MCOPS.




The noise from the speakers made it imminent that the Duet Dance held in Room 228 was already a huge hit among participants , who were both from the same gender and opposite as they donned their various outfits to offer a scintillating display of chemistry, performing across genres. The judges had plenty to choose from as they judged the contestants on the basis of their choreography, expressions and execution among other things. Participants were each given 4 minutes to wow the crowd and win them over with a plethora of songs and dances, from eastern to western. They danced with energy and never missing a beat as the crowd cheered them all with full enthusiasm.




Eastern singing solo held in Room 227 was a standout event as audiences packed in huge numbers sang along and cheered for their peers and encouraged them as they enchanted them with their melodious and soulful singing of songs from across all Indian films. Participants were given 4 minutes to showcase their fine musical prowess as they sang hitting all the right notes and tempos. They were judged upon their rhythm , voice quality and range among other things. The atmosphere was absolutely electric and it made for an experience like no other.




Painting competition enabled the imagination of participants to go wild as they were not restricted to a particular theme. The world with all its vibrant colors was made into their canvases of an A3 sheet. The participants were given 2 hours and used all sorts of poster ,water colors to help their vision come to life. Alongside this, Room 127 played host to the Mime competition in which participants pulled off brilliant impressions through just their bodies and terrific expressions to which the audience responded with applause aplenty.


The English poetry competition united all the poets as they were given three topics which included "When you met the kindest soul, the stars, the sky and the ground, reflection on a window" on which they were each given 2 hours to build a poem upon. They were judged based upon their language accuracy, clarity of ideas among other things.

Day 3 would culminate with the Rangoli making which took place in the college corridors itself where all the participants exhibited their skills making Rangolis, free handed, pictorial and descriptive with different colors to create a beautiful tapestry made out of pure skill and artistry.
