This event continued with the Principal of the institution addressing the students. He differentiated how school education is different from professional education. In school, one always has someone looking after them, whereas now a student in college would be on their own. Alongside, the expectations from parents, family, society, and in general also get higher. He requested students to be part of at least one of the cultural or sports activities and established his full confidence in this newly appointed council. He also stated that the college will support the council in all ways possible. The Vice Principal also addressed the gathering, where he elaborated on the importance of cultural activities and sports activities. He stressed on the significance and implications of a student council in any college.

Cultural Events

Following the conclusion of the formal event, came the most fun part of the evening, the cultural programs. Here is where the students of MCOPS shared their talents with the encouraging audience. It is safe to say that MCOPS has no dearth of dancers. As the students gracefully danced on the floor, the enthralled audience applauded the moves, the tunes, and the rhythms.

Invocation Dance

The ceremonial event reflected its most pleasing melodies and dance steps even in the eyes of the kids who were part of the audience, waiting for their turn to dance to the harmonies of the evening.

The range of informal and delightful events kicked off with a classical dance followed by all the batches of different groups dancing to the lyrical and rhythmic pulses of Genesis.

Stills from various performances

Students of MCOPS delivered a powerful message, an eye-opener and an awareness booster for the crowd, through a miraculous play. The drama gave a social message about how people need to speak up in order to mitigate mental health issues and this effectively served as a key highlight of the event. The entirety of the auditorium then hymned to the beautiful melodies which resonated as the second year Pharm D Students gracefully performed their tunes.

To wrap the cultural enigma, the fourth-year B.pharm students made the entire audience dance. They did so, by starting off with the song that took the internet by a joyous storm, 'Kaala Chashma'. In the blink of an eye, the hall witnessed how the audience merged with the performers as the dance floor lost its corners.
