Goonj Board Transfer Ceremony


 

Goonj Manipal, the official society upholding Hindi literature, announced their new board for 2021 on 21st November. The new set of members are highly motivated and aim to expand and bring prosperity to the club.

 

The board transfer ceremony was held in the M.V Seminar hall and turned out to be a huge success. The attendees included all the club members, along with the former board members. 


Hosts for the evening, Shivangi Somani and Hemang Raj, invited the club's faculty advisor, Dr Fasiullah, along with Aayush, the president and general secretary Shiva, to light up the lamp and kick off the day's event. The chief guest for the event, Dr Fasiullah, received a warm welcome. 







The evening took a turn down the nostalgic lane when former president Aayush spoke about his incredible journey with the Goonj family. The other board members followed him as they reminisced about their time spent and spoke about their experiences throughout their tenure. 







The former board 2020 was as follows: 

President: Aayush

General secretary: Shiva

Vice President: Bhumika Kiran

Literary and debating head: Kushagra Anand 

Management head: Swapn Ghai

Human resource and public relations head: Swasti Singh


Dr Fasiullah honoured these remarkable team members with certificates for the exceptional work they did.

Social Media Head- Anjali Mishra

Photography and Videography Head- Akansha Agarwal


Dr Fasiullah handed over the tags to all the new board members. 

The eventful evening ended with a poetry recitation by Aryan, Aditya, and Abhishek.








The new board is excited and incredibly motivated to take the club to more pristine highs and explore its full potential.
